These two lovable kittens were welcomed into a caring home thanks to the timely intervention of law enforcement officers who rescued them from a perilous hiding spot.
Frightened and in need of safety, these siblings had sought shelter in a car bumper.
The quick-thinking car owner reached out to officers Adkins and Hillard for help in resolving the situation.
On Facebook, it was shared that the two cops were happy to lend a hand. They quickly got down on their knees to check out the car, trying to find the sneaky little troublemakers in their secret spot. The lady was completely baffled by how they could have fit in there.
On Facebook, it was clear that Officer Adkins was delighted to help out. He carefully reached in and safely rescued the two meowing kittens, who thankfully seemed to be unharmed.
A while back, Officer Adkins was recognized with the prestigious South District Officer of the Year Award, proudly taking home a shiny trophy. Little did he know, he was soon to bring home an even more adorable surprise…
Before bringing the kittens to his home, he made a pit stop at the vet to ensure they were healthy and uninjured. Being just babies, the kittens needed a check-up and some TLC from the vet. During the drive to the vet, the kittens couldn’t resist snuggling up to Officer Adkins, sticking close to him the whole way. Throughout the car ride, the kittens just couldn’t get enough of cuddling him.
Upon reaching the veterinarian’s office, Adkins lovingly fed the ravenous pair of siblings with a bottle, discovering that they were only 6 weeks old. It was clear to him that he couldn’t bear to separate from them… They nestled close to his face, and in a way, his heart.
After receiving confirmation from the vet that the kittens were in good health, Adkins was able to take them to their new abode.
After rescuing these two adorable furballs, Adkins decided to give them names. He settled on Max and TJ, drawing inspiration from the events of the day he found them. It all started when he was investigating a shoplifting incident at a store called T.J. Maxx and stumbled upon the car where the kittens were hiding. This chance encounter brought them together, and now these little thieves are safe and sound, stealing hearts instead of goods. What a lucky twist of fate!
