However, later on in the shoot it was down to Jennifer’s body double as the action scenes were filmed.
The young stand-in wore her hair cut just like Jennifer’s as she dashed out of a smoking building, clad only in her underwear.
Clutched in her hands were the clothes previously worn by the Friends star, leaving no doubt as to which actress the double was standing in for.
Jennifer’s decision to rely on a body double might come as a surprise to her fans, given that she bared her slim figure in a Sєxy scene for last year’s comedy Horrible Bosses.
The action scenes filmed on her new set yesterday also saw a Porsche smashed in two, and men running around with guns.
Jennifer is currently busy filming in Wilmington, while her new fiancé Justin Theroux, 41, remains at home in Los Angeles.
He proposed to her on his birthday on August 10, with a spokesperson for Theroux, the cousin of British documentary-maker Louis Theroux, confirming: ‘Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage.’
The wedding will be a second for Jennifer, whose marriage to Brad Pitt ended in 2005.
Since then she has dated a string of men, including Vince Vaughan, Bradley Cooper, John Mayer and Owen Wilson, but the relationships have all been short-lived.
