In a delightful role reversal, dog trainer Linda Kush, 63, had the pleasure of relaxing while her furry companions, vizslas Reka and Roxie, along with weimaraner Riley, tackled household chores in Missouri. The canine trio didn’t shy away from any task, whether it was vacuuming, polishing, or even scrubbing the toilet – showcasing their impressive range of skills. With rubber gloves on, the dogs were captured mopping the floor, washing dishes, and cleaning the oven, creating a dog owner’s ultimate fantasy scene.

Linda loves capturing funny moments of her three furry companions, and for the past three years, she has been spreading joy by sharing these adorable photos with others. On Pet Owners Independence Day, Linda took the opportunity to have her dogs switch roles with her and take over the household chores. “It’s all about swapping roles with your pets, so I had them tackling the tasks I usually handle. The last photo even shows me relaxing in front of the fireplace – which happens to be their favorite spot,” she explained. Linda went on to say, “I put them to work that day, and they were up for the challenge. They are so well-trained that they quickly got the hang of things. It’s like they are always curious about what I am doing and eager to help out.” When asked about their performance, Linda shared, “Roxie definitely excelled at the tasks. She seems to be a natural at everything – even cleaning the toilets didn’t faze her. She took on the toughest job and aced it.”
Reka gazes wistfully at the lush scenery outside while she’s stuck indoors, busily scrubbing the windows.
Thank you for everything! Riley suddenly has a brilliant idea and decides to help out by vacuuming the entire house, taking over her owner’s usual duties for a change.
Linda decided to switch things up for a day and took her dogs’ spot, curling up to take a nap in their cozy bed by the warm fireplace.
