The charm of Polydactyl cats is something that cat lovers cannot resist. Their uniqueness lies in their extra toes, which makes them irresistibly cute. Among them is Yeti, an orange tabby with curly ears and a surplus of toes who was born in April 2021. Though he still has some growing left to do, his breed is known for its size. These gentle giants are adored by feline enthusiasts for their short tails, curly ears, and affectionate personalities. With all these impressive traits and extra toes, Yeti is sure to capture the hearts of all cat admirers.
How did the name “Yeti” come about for this furry friend? Well, it was actually inspired by the legend of the abominable snowman – a mythical creature with a similar appearance to Bigfoot, known for its shaggy, white fur. Despite his intimidating name, Yeti is actually quite friendly and loves being snuggled. He’s also quite intelligent and enjoys playing pranks on his human companions. Yeti isn’t the only animal living in his home though! He shares his space with an older tabby cat named Mac and a crested gecko named Sniper, who he finds entertaining to observe in her enclosure.
What makes Yeti the cat stand out from the rest? Firstly, he is a member of the Highland Lynx breed and has an impressive 23 toes, making him a polydactyl. In addition, his ears have a unique curl to them, and his tail is tiny in comparison to his weight of over 20 pounds. Despite his size, Yeti is undeniably adorable. I would like to express my gratitude to Kelly, Yeti’s owner, for allowing me to share his story and pictures with the readers of Cattitude Daily. Follow Yeti on Instagram to see more of this charming feline with an abundance of toes!
What does he enjoy doing in his free time? Well, his hobbies include playing with his toys, sprinting around the house, observing birds and squirrels in the yard, and settling down for a peaceful slumber after an eventful day. Keep reading to uncover additional details.
